Whenever we’re lucky enough to be sharing a bed, Theo loves to happily bury her face in my cleavage. From between my breasts, I can hear her giggle and say – in a very muffled voice – that she can’t breathe. I laugh and ask if she’d like me to save her, which makes her snuggle in even deeper with a wide, mad grin, apparently at peace with her fate.
This week she’s off to (censored) with (censored) in (censored,) and will be impossible to contact for most of that time. It’s an amazing opportunity, and I’m just speechless, because ‘normal’ folks never get chances like this. I’d really love to be able to tell you all about it, because it’s so cool and so unbelievable…even as it fits perfectly into her incredible life, one more beyond amazing moment in a lifetime so full of them, it does almost feel like she’s drowning sometimes.
No question, though – that’s the way to go. Neck-deep in magical moments.
We should all be so lucky.
